Panagiotis Aristidou

In February 1957, Panagiotis Aristidou, a wanted EOKA guerrilla, was wounded in the battle of Pelendri¹, during which the heroes Sotiris Tsagkaris and Dimitrios Christodoulou fell and Stylianos Lenas was wounded.

Aristidou was able to escape and fled to the house of Christodoulos Kannaouros, where he hid and was offered proper medical treatment until he recovered.
