About Loukas Louka
He was born in the village of Ayia Napa, in the province of Famagusta, on August 10, 1941. He died on October 3, 1958 in Famagusta, from a skull fracture caused by the British. Today in the Turkish-occupied area. Loukas Louka graduated from Ayia Napa Primary School and was a student at the Greek High School in Famagusta when he died.
He was a member of the student groups of EOKA and his action was mainly participation in demonstrations and protests against the occupation of Cyprus by the British, throwing leaflets and writing slogans, both in Famagusta and Ayia Napa.
On the night of October 3, 1958, thousands of Britons, with the tolerance of the authorities, carried out all kinds of violence against the Greek citizens of Famagusta, after the imposition of house arrest, avenging the murder of England Calif, who had been convicted by EOKA.
