Stelios Agathokleous

Born in Avdimos, on 26/7/1936.

He was the fifth child in a large family and had six other siblings. He studied until the fifth grade at the Primary School in Prasteio and then he was involved in construction work, until the end of his life. He married Chrysavgi Stylianou, from Pachna, born on 28/12/1933 and they had five children, George (1957), Andri (1958), Katerina (1960), Maria (1964) and Agathoklis (1970). His interests were gunsmithing and hunting. He was a good family man, full of life and, as his family says, for his friends, who appreciated and loved him very much, he gave his life.

His resistance activity started a long time ago, from 1955-1959, when took part in the fight against the English. During that period he belonged to the organized rebel groups.
