Limassol

Biography

A true, honest, pure, humble fighter, loyal to the unifying struggle. He took part in the epic 1955-59 campaign. He contributed to the armoring of the defense and repulsion of the mutiny of December 1963. He collaborated with Cretans to import armaments that were necessary for the defense of his village (Prastio Avdimos) against the Turkish threat.

On June 3, 1973, Aristokles Augusti, then only 45 years old, from Prasteio Avdimou, cousin of Takis Evdokas, former EOKA activist and executive of SAPEL Limassol, was about to be assassinated for his belief in the Unitarian Ideal.
